Hardcore fandom aside, can we all agree that the Street Fighter movie is a thinly veiled excuse to stare at Chun Li–or at least her on-screen equivalent–for 90 minutes? Granted, after the controversy (controversy!) over her supposed thunder thighs, I for one wouldn’t mind watching a slimmer Li kick her legs ridiculously high in the air for an hour and a half.
Still, Kristin Kreuk is certainly a watered down Li. She’s half Chinese, but she’s a bit like the muscular Asian fighter delivered on a dainty American platter. Then again, I’m still thanking Mila Jovovich for giving me something to ogle during the Resident Evil movies, so maybe I’m just a bad video game adaptation perv.

You won’t be a bad video game adaption perv until you sit through repeated viewings of the Bloodrayne movies.
