In typical Bonnie fashion for this strange holiday week, I forgot to mention until after the fact the impressive line-up of musical Second Life events that were going on last weekend. Collected under the general, rock-out heading, SecondFest, the events included indie music, dancing, you name it.
Unfortunately, I didn’t make it to the festival, but I’m curious if any Heroine Sheik readers did. To tell the truth, I’ve never been to a musical performance in Second Life before, so I’m not even 100% sure how things go down. More specifically, I’m wondering about the experience of being in the audience. No shoving your body against the stranger next to you for a better view; no ear-exploding loudness.
Then again, I could answer my own question by just going to a show. If only my computer weren’t on the way out. (Though a new MacBook is on its way in!) Excuses, excuses…
