Update: Oops, apparently the piece didn’t go up until Friday. Tricky, tricky, tricky. Here’s the official link to “Venus in Furs.”
Up yesterday at American Sexuality you’ll find (fingers crossed) my article, long in the works, on furry sexuality in Second Life. As for real-life furs, I’ve always wondered, what happens if you overheat in your fursuit? And do you have to undress all the way to use the bathroom? What we need now is a “day in the life of a fur convention” under-cover article…

I don’t see it, the link leads to an article on polyamory, without any connection to Second Life that I can see.

I’m glad you’re out there doing this kind of work, I feel oddly enriched as a person for reading it. I think this sort of sexial “deviancies” in contrast to other sub-cultures, is highly emblematic of what I call the “transhuman condition”. Basically humanity and human nature are evolving more rapidly now than ever before, in conjunction with technical iteration, and fur-dom is one manifestation of that. Of course, I think the next few decades are going to be even crazier.

My name is Milena and I am a producer at the WE Network (Women’s Entertainment) and we are doing a documentary, TV Show entitled “Secret Lives of Women.” On the show I am hoping to get an average, everyday woman who is a furry to talk about her experiences. We would like to educate the public and expose this lifestyle to people and hopeful remove the stigma some people might have.
Unfortunately, we are unable to pay the people that are on our show, but if you know of anyone who could benefit from the free exposure or has a passion for teaching people through their own experiences, I would love to hear from them. If anyone is too embarrassed by the subject or would not like the exposure, we may also hide their identity if they so wished.
So if you are interested please email at MC2_Productions@hotmail.com. Please include a little bit about yourself, your contact information, and a photograph.
Thank you so much for your time and I do hope you maybe able to help.
