More thoughts on what it means to be your gun: In my last post, I said that it would be a rather phallic existence, and I stand by that, but I’ve also been thinking about how “self as gun” is a feminine idea. Afterall, haven’t movies taught us that real mean are supposed to name their guns after women? Something along the lines of “Your gun will be a woman because it’s the only pussy you people are going to get.” Although I can’t help thinking of poor, hilarious David Sedaris naming his guitar Oliver.

In other news, we’ve officially booked our tickets to San Fran for the Sex in Games Conference. Hooray! We’re excited! Can you tell?

David Sedaris named it Oliver, did he? I love that guy - my mother urged me to read Dress Your Family in Courderoy, which was just brilliant. Have fun in San Franny!

Are you possibly alluding to the name Nintendo gave its next console?

I love him too! Scott (my fiancee) and I went to see him read a year or two back when he was in NY - great stuff. I’m really happy he’s gotten so much recognition lately, top of the bestseller list and what.

Anything is possible;-), though it’s actually a quote from Me Talk Pretty One Day. Since we’re on the topic? I’m going with “numb acceptance.” Scott raised a good point the other day though, that with a move like that they’re removing themselves from mainstream competition, and hoping to corner a different market. And that, well that could go great or it could go awful. We shall see…
